OUR SCHOOL

Birdswood Secondary School currently has around 620 learners from a variety of backgrounds and we feel that this diversity is the key to our success in our academic endeavours. We are proud to say that approximately 70% of our learners go on to study at tertiary institutions when they leave Matric. Another key factor in ensuring our academic success is that we are able to maintain manageable class sizes which provides learners with a more relaxed learning environment and allows them the opportunity to connect one on one with any one of our highly qualified educators, who go above and beyond by offering extra lessons for the learners to attend in the afternoons, evenings and on weekends. These extra lessons are also available during the July and October school holidays (Winter and Summer school respectively)
